We are happy to announce the 2011 Gaga Intensive Summer Course, to be held from July 17-29, 2011!
Intensive Details
Ohad Naharin and Batsheva dancers offer an intensive two-week summer workshop for dancers/dance students age 18+.
The Gaga Intensive will be held from July 17-29, 2011 from 10:00 to 17:00 each day (please note that Fridays will be half-days and Saturday is a day off). The schedule includes Gaga/dancers classes, Gaga methodics classes, and repertory.
Classes will take place at Batsheva's studios in the Suzanne Dellal Centre, 6 Yechieli Street in Tel Aviv.
Price: 2400 NIS (approximately $660)
Please note that participants are responsible for their own travel, food, and housing arrangements. In past years, many dancers have stayed at local hostels or sublet apartments.
Registration Information
We have limited space for only 150 dancers. Registration will close when we have 150 dancers enrolled, so we urge you to sign up as soon as possible. Once we have filled these spots, we will maintain a wait list in case dancers cancel.
To register for the course, fill out the online form at the bottom of this page (please make sure to answer all the questions and click submit at the bottom). Please make sure to send your CV (in .doc or .pdf format) and a photo of yourself to gagaint@gmail.com to complete your file.
Once we have received all of your materials and reviewed them, we will contact you to notify you of your acceptance. You will then be required to pay a 500 NIS deposit and will receive instructions on how to pay this securely online via PayPal. The remaining 1900 NIS of the workshop fee will be due in cash or by credit card on the first day of the intensive.
Discount for Returning Participants
Dancers who have attended previous Gaga Intensives in Tel Aviv will receive a 15% discount on the total fee for the summer course.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel prior to June 17, we will refund 50% of your deposit. After June 17, we will not refund your deposit unless we can fill the space.
