We are happy to announce the Gaga Intensive Winter Course in Tel Aviv, to be held from January 15-21, 2017!
Ohad Naharin along with dancers from Batsheva Dance Company offer an intensive winter workshop for professional dancers and advanced dance students age 18+.
Dates: January 15-21, 2017
Hours: 10:00-17:00 (The schedule is subject to change)
Classes: Gaga/dancers, repertory, Gaga methodics
Location: Batsheva's studios at the Suzanne Dellal Centre, 6 Yechieli Street in Tel Aviv
Price: 2000 ILS tuition + 150 ILS non-refundable application fee
Participants are responsible for their own travel, food, and housing arrangements as well as for providing their own health insurance that will cover medical care in Israel for the duration of the program.
It is not possible to attend only part of the intensive. Dancers who register are expected to participate in the entire program.
How to Apply
We have limited space in our course, and we will be selecting dancers based on their application materials. Please apply as soon as possible so that we can consider you for the intensive.
** We will not consider any incomplete applications and will not review your application until the application fee has been paid through PayPal!
Please submit all your materials together.
1) Pay the non-refundable 150 ILS application fee through PayPal by clicking the "Pay Now" button below and following the instructions.
2) Send the following materials in a single e-mail with the subject line "Gaga Intensive Winter Course January 2017 Application" to Reut at [email protected]:
- CV/resume: CV in English or Hebrew, and in .doc or .pdf formats only . Use your full name as the name of the file.
- Photo: Headshot photograph of yourself, separate from your CV (.jpg/.png). Use your full name as the name of the file
- Video: Send a link to a short video (2-5 minutes in length) in which your dancing is clearly visible. Share your passion to move and your skills.
3) Fill out the online application form at this link (please write in English or Hebrew). Please make sure to answer all the questions and submit the form at the end.
We will contact you within two weeks of receiving your complete application (including the application fee) to notify you whether or not you are accepted to our winter course in Tel Aviv.
If you are accepted, you will be required to pay a 500 ILS deposit to secure your spot and will receive instructions on how to pay this securely online via PayPal. This deposit must be paid within one week of your acceptance; if the deposit is not received within this time frame, the spot will be given to another dancer.
The remaining balance of the workshop fee will also be due via PayPal by November 15. Further instructions for paying the balance will be sent once your deposit is received. If the balance is not paid by the deadline, your spot will no longer be secured and may be offered to another dancer.
Discount for Returning Participants
Dancers who have attended previous Gaga Intensives in Tel Aviv, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Belgium, Barcelona, or Torino will receive a 15% discount on the 2000 ILS tuition for the summer course.
If you cancel by October 15: You will receive a full refund of the tuition you paid.
If you cancel between October 15 and December 15: If we can find someone to fill your spot, you will receive a full refund of the tuition you paid minus 50% of the deposit (250 ILS). If we cannot find anyone to take this spot, we will refund your balance payment but Gaga will keep the full deposit (500 ILS).
If you cancel after December 15: If we can find someone to fill your spot, you will receive a full refund of the tuition you paid minus 50% of the deposit (250 ILS). If we cannot find anyone to take this spot, there will be no refund.
If you have reserved a spot and have a change of plans, we ask that you notify us of your cancellation as soon as possible.
