Shani Garfinkel was born in Israel in 1985. She joined Batsheva Ensemble in 2003 and Batsheva Dance Company in 2007, and she danced with the company until December 2012. Shani was Rehearsal Director and a dancer for Cedar Lake Dance Company in New York. She started to teach Gaga in 2005 both people and dancers.
Since 2013, Shani has been working as a freelance dancer and teaching Gaga and Ohad Naharin’s repertory in Israel and around the world.
