Catherine Coury is a native of Detroit and graduate of the University of Michigan. Since 2010, Catherine’s dance career included extensive international touring, as well as the creation and performance of new works with New York City’s Shen Wei Dance Arts, Shannon Gillen, Gallim Dance, & LoudHoundMovement. In 2015 Catherine relocated to Tel Aviv, Israel where she became a certified Gaga teacher, certified practitioner of the Ilan Lev Method, and co-founded MARCAT DANCE alongside choreographer and former member of Batsheva Dance Company, Mario Bermudez Gil.
